Atkins starts you off on a very low number like 10 during induction, and then during ongoing weight loss, you gradually add back in carbs until you reach a point where you stop losing weight. Then you back off a little on that thresh-hold number, and lose weight over the long term. Everyone has a different threshold, so you have to go through that procedure to find your own number. So, there's no exact calculation on Atkins.

Dont do Atkins! Your body needs carbs or your brain rots! Atkins was made by a fat guy who died because he was fat and his diet killed him. If you want a real diet do the opposite of Atkins. No fat or low fat foods, and lots of carbs. My brother lost of 60 pounds in 4 months on that diet.

You are suppose to start off with 20 carbs for the first two weeks of induction!!! Then to slow up weight loss you start adding like 5 each week after!!
