God needs money to build bigger Churches.
Oh ya...for his bills too..he has lots of bills...all that electricity...and the plumbing is a mess!

I worked as an electrician all over the Midwest for 5 years at many Post Offices and I asked how many people do send money, I was informed at every stop that the elderly give weekly.
It upset most every Post Master but their hands are tied.
I find they pray on the elderly and week.
I know my grandmother did as well and she gave at church every week also, she often gave more then she had to offer.
It still sickens me to think they need to buy their way into heaven.

Religion is the perfect con. It is government protected, tax free, and the product they sell never has to be delivered until you reach a place that doesn't exist. Little wonder so many con-men (and women) jump on that manured money wagon.

These guys are very good salesmen, and what they're selling is eternal life. Who wouldn't want that? And, there's no way to come back to demand a refund, right? It's the perfect scam.

it's not for forgiveness. We cant pay for our sins to be removed!
in faith people give. there is a reward for faith. the ones who give are not the ones responsible for what is done with the money. there will be justice for what has taken place that shouldn't have been.

People don't donate to a church for forgiveness, they do it to help the ministry. It's like giving to a charity so they can continue helping people.

Exactly!

Some people are desperate enough to believe anything.Televangelists,Ann Coulter, etc. It's bizzare.

More normal people need to stand up against it.

Isn't it amazing? In a way, yes. People are so confused that they will follow anyone who says that they have a way. It's scary to think that they prey on people who don't know any better.
