for your offense, you will be fined most likely, ( although they can give jail time(

Juv court is another matter, they are going to look at the safety and upbringing of the minor child. They will want to talk to the parents or guardian ( if not you) and see if they knew you were going to take her) their concern will be if her current home is a safe one for her. They can have a fine, put her on probation, require home inspections and more. They will be less concerned over the specific crime as to why it happened, is more happening and is her currnet home a danger to her

What do you mean you brought your younger sister to a casino? Did you somehow get her into the area with the dealing tables and slot machines? Minors are allowed in casino's as long as they are accompanied by an adult and they are in non-gambling areas (Giftshop, bathrooms, and food areas). If you just got a ticket, then you will not face jail time. You will just have to pay a fine for either lack of superivision or contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

You it's no big deal,

the big deal is worth your sister, while no Juv court will for this infraction through your sister in jail, the Juv judge does have wide discretion to look into the reason and circumstances of why your sister was on the casino floor, can also look into your family to see if there is a problem, if your sister has been in trouble before or in the system that's another problem

For your charge...you'll get delinquency of a minor and a fine. On her part..she might have to stay the night in the juvenile detention center until they figure out what to do with her. If your the guardian then you might lose guardianship of her and she goes into the foster care system. If your not the guardian and she has parents then they will have her go home with them and have NO contact with you. If she breaks that she goes back to the detention center. It's a messed up world but you should have known better. Hope she likes orange.

Talk to your lawyer. Of your sister was charged as a juvenile, she can't go to jail! And I doubt if you would either.! But that is a guess!
