RUN to the nearest free clinic.
And if the hospital ER is closer, go there. Hospitals have all sorts of financial programs to assist those in need of care that are unable to pay.
Unless of course your lump is a nasty ingrown hair and in that case, poke it with a needle.
But I'd go SEE A FREAKING DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY.

First of all, it is likely just a swollen lymph node and not something for you to worry over. Secondly, someone said a lump that size has a low survival rate, which isn't true either. I had Hodgkin's Disease and the lymph nodes in my neck swelled WAY up, it looked like I had a grape fruit under the skin. The nodes under my arm swelled as well and I'm in full remission now.
Find a free clinic or call the local hospital or cancer clinic and explain the situation to them. Most will do their best to work with you. They'd rather work with you financially now, than waiting a few months and it being much worse and costly.

Call the American Cancer Society and they can give you free advice. There are many lymph nodes under your armpit and it is extremely important that you see a doctor as soon as possible. I do not want to scare you, but you should take care of that ASAP. The ACS can direct you and hopefully refer you to the correct person to see. There has to be free clinic near you or a doctor that can take care of you at a minimal cost to you. Keep in mind that your life is important and that you need to take care of yourself first and foremost. Please go right away. Lumps can be nothing but they can also be very serious. THey are not to be ignored. Have you had your yearly mammogram done?

You MUST see a doctor. There may be a clinic where you can go, ask a coworker or neighbor for a reference, or if all else fails open the yellow pages. Different states have programs available for uninsured residents to help with an insurance plan or help with paying medical bills. There are ways you can work out paying for the cost of healthcare. Letting it go will not be the answer to your question.

First of all pray, 2ND thing don't panic it's probably only a benign cist. 3 . call your local hospital that is federally and state funded and ask how to get in on program that is available for people who don't have insurance. 4.make an appointment to see doctor, and in mean time don't pick at it. you can also go to the drug store and show it to the pharmacist and sometime they will give you their opinion of what it is and sometime refer you to a place to go get it looked at by doctor sooner than getting into federally funded hospital. if all this fail then go to emergency and let them know that you are very concern about it. God Bless. Believe me every thing will be alright.

Call your local hospital's information line and tell them exactly what you wrote. They will either find a doctor for you or direct you to a nearby free clinic. Do it now; a visible lump that size that turns out to be cancer has a low survivability percentage.

Go to the hospital. You probably have a tumor in your armpit. I would get a check up. Or go to a cancer doctor

I would strongly advise you to go and see a local general practitioner and get a referal to see a specialist to have tests carried out to confirm whether this particular lump is a cancerous growth and relieve your anxiety. Do it today.
