In Genesis of the Bible God creates Adam And Eve, but it says nothing about them looking like apes and transforming into humans. The bible says that man was created in the image God, so if evolution is true, does that mean that God looked like an ape?

I'm not really bothered by it. To me, they are mere technicalities that tend to cloud my judgement and faith. I consider my faith more important. Peace.

Okay, I don't want to put this into play as doctrine or anything like that. I just believe the bible does not contradict itself, and therefore answers are here that I don't completely get just yet, or ever maybe.

However, in the account of creation. (Genesis 1-26,27) Man isn't created until the sixth day. However, it says "let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the Earth..."

In the account of creation for man however It says that God formed man (Genesis 2:4) before any animals, and possible any plants, but after water had risen from the ground. That would be the third day according to the account of creation.

So I see two things, a day on which man was formed and then placed in the garden of Eden, and a day on which man was created in the image of God. It might be two separate days (again don't want to declare anything, just food for thought.) If so it would lend to the fact that man was created, and then changed. Read it for yourself though and draw whatever you can from it.

Also, another food for thought. If your struggling with this, The bible does say that There was evening and morning, the first day, second day, etc.. Yet, it's always evening and always morning somewhere on this planet. From any other POV except here on this planet, the Earth is always covered in some light and some dark. I know that during a total eclipse the Earth is completely dark.. So again, not declaring anything, just food for thought. Don't struggle with this too much. There's a lot of possiblities that could prove scripture true, but we won't know until we get there.

As a christian I have no problem with the dinosaurs. It states that God created the animals he liked what he saw and went on to create humans. It also states in Genesis that God was angry with humans and created the flood that destroyed all life except for what Noah saved. My point is this I believe evolution is God's plan for creation. How else can you explain the mass extinctions that have happened in Earth's history. I believe that time has no meaning for God. So five-hundred million years represents nothing for God. I feel every time an extinction happened God was starting over with life on Earth, I can't understand why evolutionists and creationist have to point fingers at one another and say their way is the right and only way. God created life through evolution, it works hand in hand, but I guess people have closed their minds to that possibility.

God can look anyway God wants to. Personally I feel God represents life itself, and only God knows when he will end what we call life on this planet. In the end evolution was created by God, creation is the evolution of life on this planet, why people are so scared to look at it that way is beyond me.

I believe creation stories are just that, stories. No one knows for sure how it went. Some even believe that there have been several "ages" of earth, with each being wiped off by disaster and a new one grew in its place.
So, even if you do believe Genesis, the question is this: How do you know what a day is to God?
With regards to being created in his image, I believe that is a phrase that has been twisted to the favor of the Demiurge. No one can know what the Source looks like because it is undescribable.

The dinasour was the stone age. I think that era was before the first era in the bible. No, God didn't have a mortal appearance.
It's hard to explain, what that passage (in our image) means. But I once saw something on tv, in which a tall white haired man (supposed to be God) and a small man (a midget. No idea who it was supposed to be) were talking. And the tall one snaped his fingers and a bird became a man, and fell to the ground. That was Adam.

If you are a true Christian, you will know that God makes no mistakes; he is perfect, and everything is done for a reason. Evolution 'exists' because these apes didn't have what it took to live on earth, so they evolved. God wouldn't make something that needed to evolve. He says nothing about apes, or monkeys, He created HUMAN BEINGS.

Man and woman were made in the image of God with individuality, the power and freedom to think and to do. Though created free beings, each is an indivisible unity of body, mind, and spirit, dependent upon God for life and breath and all else. When our first parents disobeyed God, they denied their dependence upon Him and fell from their high position under God. The image of God in them was marred and they became subject to death. Their descendants share this fallen nature and its consequences. They are born with weaknesses and tendencies to evil. But God in Christ reconciled the world to Himself and by His Spirit restores in penitent mortals the image of their Maker. Created for the glory of God, they are called to love Him and one another, and to care for their environment. (Gen. 1:26-28; 2:7; Ps. 8:4-8; Acts 17:24-28; Gen. 3; Ps. 51:5; Rom. 5:12-17; 2 Cor. 5:19, 20; Ps. 51:10; 1 John 4:7, 8, 11, 20; Gen. 2:15.)

Evolution is not true and there are several references to large animals (Levethian, Dragon, etc.) in the Bible that could refer to the dinosaurs.

There is no such think as evolution, there is only a list of creatures that Chuck Norris allows to live.
