I have to respectfully disagree. There are a few issues you have to consider when trying to categorize America's values.
Firstly, can we state that America has Christian values? America, a country based on freedom of religion, cannot have Christian values by definition. We can have moral values, but they must take into consideration the beliefs of all religions - Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, etc.
Secondly, to emphasize Christian values is against the precept of separation of church and state. The government should not give us our moral values, they should give us our legal values. Bush has no right to get involved in issues of gay marriage, just as Clinton had no right to get involved in the "don't ask, don't tell" issue of gays inthe military.
Thirdly, can we really look at GWB action's and procalim them to be moral? The president who got us into a war with Iraq on the flimsiest of excuses?
To conclude, I don't know if GWB is inspired by God, but I have to say that he better be looking for the good of America's econonmy, education and environment, and leave the religious welfare where it belongs - with the respective clergy.

I don't know about inspired by God, but I think he is trying to make our country's beliefs or standards Christian and the only problem with that is that Christian beliefs and standards mean nothing when Christ is taken out of them.
By the By, Many people have gone forth trying to do good and have been very misguided (Not Guided By God) and have ended up doing some truly evil things. (Not necessarily speaking of GWB, but us as Christians in general).

You are truly deluded if that's what you believe. He has you right where he wants you.
By the way - Christians are not the only people with values and morals.

Your god maybe. Is your god's name Satan by any chance? Bush Sr. is the Antichrist (remember his statement about the New World Order?), and Bush Jr. is probably the Beast. (He certainly is A beast if nothing else.)
