I seriously doubt the Catholic Church will give up its very nice little country of Vatican City.
Besides the Pope moving to Jerusalem would probably only make matters worse in an already volatile area.
With love in Christ.

What a strange question...probably not...at least for the time being.
The Pope's traditional digs lately have been in the Vatican surrounded by Rome. Some Popes have moved about here and there but he's got his pre-sets all programmed and all that there...so why move?

No because:
1) It would cost too much
2) Vatican city is already independent and non-competitive inside
3) It would be too controversial since it will be obvious to all that some will think the antichrist is fulfulling prophecy
4) There are already catholic churches there, so 'setting up shop' isn't necessary
5) The catholic church goes to great lengths to engage in ecumenical dialog, while still trying to be true to its own beliefs. This move would defeat that philopsophy.
