I just know about the pill...it releases horomones into your body to trick yourself into thinking your pregnant so that you won't get pregnant. It is an accumulation process...so if you take the pill for a month you an have unprotected sex after that...however it is still not recommended.
If you don't know what birth control is already...you probably shouldn't be considering being put on it.
