I am a guy and I have Medium length hair it seems to be healthy but how do i stop split ends and stop frizz and get softer and smoother hair like my girlfriend?

I am sorry to tell you the only thing that you can do for spit ends is cut them. If you don't all they will end up doing is splitting farther and farther up and it will look like your hair was cut anyway. The only thing is that it will be much shorter than if you would have just gotten it trimmed in the beginning.

To get rid of split ends, you should make sure to get your hair trimmed every 6-8 weeks. Also, many hair companies make split end treatment shampoos and conditioners for people who have a big problem with this. Frizz Ease also makes a good anti friz serum and a line of anti friz hair products, as well.

Get some treatment for it.Frizz ease, VO5, Suave.Also get a little trim every 4-7 weeks.It prevents and stops split ends in their tracks.If you have the frizzy hair prob, then get some frizz ease or some straightening gel.

Get it trimmed regularly. Like a half an inch or so. Use a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Frizz ease makes great anti frizz products.

Everyone gave very good answers so far. I would like to add that dryness contributes to split ends. Are you blowing drying your hair every day on the high setting? Do you swim in chlorinated pools a lot? Are you in the sun excessively? Do you use very hot water when you shower or harsh shampoos?

Use conditioner only on the ends of your hair, then use a frizz control leave-in conditioner only on the ends of your hair.

you need to get your hair trimmed also try using Biosilk Silk Thearapy it will make you hair alot softer and smoother but make sure that you only use alittle or it will make your hair oily feeling

Well what i do is i add extra virgin olive oil to the tips of my hair to heal and prevent split ends...
