Well Hitler was baptized and raised Catholic. He considered the priesthood at a very early age. However, he turned his back on Christianity in his youth. He was a pagan racist. He believed in having German blood. He wasn't even "German" considering he was born in Austria. He didn't get German citizenship until the early 30s I believe. The Nazi racist ideals came from paganism. They believed in the Germanic paganism that was abound during the Roman and early Christian times. It wasn't based on Roman Catholicism that is for sure. However, the Vatican didn't do much to stop Hitler other than to condemn the cult of the blood that Nazis preached. They didn't make explicit statements against Hitler's anti-Semitism and violence until very late in the game. They even signed a Concordat with the Reich in March 1933 that prohibited Catholic priests from participating in politics and banned Catholic youth groups.

The Nazis were a political party in Germany that had a socialist (like communist) philosophy. Was not religious based at all, nor in any way connected with the Roman Catholics.

The Nazi Regime was simply that - a regime. Their aims were not based around religion as far as I remember, although I do remember my history teacher told us that Hitler ordered that his book, 'Mein Kampf' be placed on the alter in churches instead of the bible......so maybe Hitler wanted to take things a step further and declare himself a god?? Who knows?? Then again, he was a megalomaniac...

The Nazis were a German political party. Had nothing to do with religion, though they persecuted many religions. The Catholic church did support them, at first but later tried to disassociate with them.

no nazi has nothing to do with religion, and in fact it opposed religion of the jews, nazi are followers of hitler, hitler thought that a superior race should be formed and so he went about destroying millions of innocent jews, the worst kind in history people were brutely taken from home and kept in camps and were sent to gas chambers, you dont associate any thing like this to religion , its the opposite of religion.
