my ex had been calling and calling. i finally answered. he says he wanted to know if i was ok. we started talking, i broke down crying saying how could he and what about all the promises he had made. he said he had things he needed to work on as a man, i agree but said he could do that and if he really loved me he could do both (be with me and work on himself). long story short we kept talking back and forth, he's saying he's going to always be in my life because he's always gonna care for me. he said he had his tattoo re-done which is my name on his chest. the last thing he said was he couldnt come back now anyway..i said why not....he said because he acted rash...thats when the phone cutt off (phone card ran out). what do yall think about the situation?

i'm still going through a similar situation, my x wants me 2 always remain in her life, i told her i don't know what the future holds, no one does, but i know not now or anytime soon do i want 2 b your friend, i have 2 b completely over u, i think theres still a part of your x that misses u and wants 2 hear your voice, if it doesn't hurt 2 talk 2 him and it doesn't bring back emotions than it's ok 2 chat every once and a while, but if your heart still aches 4 him than the best thing 2 do is forget him and move on, let yourself heal 1st, clear your mind, personally i think it's a bad idea 2 remain friends with your x, u might find this article helpful http://www.askmen.com/dating/heidi/33_da...

it sounds like he has alot on his chest right now. the question you need to answer is should you wait till he is ok or just leave now because you will never know when that might be. i wish you the best of luck and hope you figure everything out fast. i have the same problem i needed to fix myself as well but i wanted my b/f in my life still. he was the one trying to leave because he thought i was leaving in a nice way. call him and talk to him hun

My dear I'm sorry to say this but I think that you have to move on.
He doesn't LOVE you. And you deserve someone better to make you happy. stop thinking about him and move on with your life. You will soon find Mr. Right and be happy with him.
Stop suffering for smb who's not worth it!
