The thing about secrets is that no matter how well guarded, they don't stay secrets for long. There is no way to stop word of mouth. There are, probably things people forget about, or are not well explained...think of it like that time in second grade that you found a sand dollor, and then at 20 your sweetheart asks you if you've ever found something in the sand. You say, "a few shells, maybe." And thats all your family remembers, and you don't really remeber finding the sand dollor either.

History dosn't have to be made a secret for it to be forgotten. Actually, had their been secrets it would of been known for many centuries and the knowlege that there was a guarded secret seeped into culture.

No, I don't think so. The Catholic Church is pretty open with what they do, as they have learned over the long history that hiding things doesn't help them get and keep parishioners. Also, consider the sheer number of people and large amounts of money it would take to keep something hidden, like the stupid idea of a child of Jesus and the future descendants. It would be so hard to cover up, they would go bankrupt and would have done so years ago.
Common sense tells you that conspiracies like this are just a waste of time.

Yes. definitely. The Vatican has a section called "Secret Archives" which includes ancient books, that once called "forbidden books" and much much more stuff.

It also said to keep the original hebrew artifacts.

I beleive they have many secret books and alot of richness from the ancient world who if they were followed would contradict the teachings of the catholic church. Don't forget the inquisition controlled most of europe and it's history is full of bloodshed. Once one was a suspect of working with the devil all of his belongings were confiscated then he would be burned on the stake to cleanse his soul.

Well, Jesus said there´s nothing hidden that will not be revealed. So, if they are hiding anything it will come to light, someday. By looking at heir history is public knowledge that their hierarchy has a bad reputation for very wicked things they´ve done, such as crusades, ´´holy´´ inquisition, concordat´s, conspiracies...and who knows what else. But Jesus had warned that after He had sowed hi´s seed an enemy would sow tares. God bless you!!!

Okay kids, let's go over this one more time.

"The Da Vinci Code" is a work of fiction. That means the author made it up. It's not real. He made up a story, wrote it down, sold it in book form, and now people everywhere accept it is fact.

Remember: fiction = made up in the writer's head.

Oh I almost forgot-Some of those same people say the Bible is a book of fairy tales. Go figure.

Oh for sure, I think they have Robert Goulet there and they keep him hidden from view until he's needed to spice up the local productions of The Man of La Mancha.
