There is the Cheddar Mountainbike/Downhill Challenge in October time - my brother took part a few years ago.

Check Mountain Bike UK magazine for more events.

I know that Ashton Court has some really good tracks for Mountain Bikes.

I was going to cycle round the Downs dressed as a carrot on my Grifter. But its been raining all afternoon and if I get the green foliage on my head wet I'll be all night towelling it dry.
