If you ask a Catholic religious leader he will tell you, because Adam and Eve ate the apple. If you ask me I would say there is no such thing. Even peaceful animals have to watch their back. We have a food chain amongst us humans as well. The Rich the Poor and the Religious. They will alway fight

Because Satan is continuously recruiting new members. Anyone who does something evil has a choice, don't do it and you can follow god and go to heaven, do it and Satan has recruited another soul.
