Overall I agree, but sometimes the heading question is misleading and when finally getting to the details people feel that some kind recompense is deserved for reading the whole thing.

I don't know, but I wish they would. I think all those sorts of answers should be deleted, and the points revoked, since they're really just gaming for points. If they don't have an answer, they should just go on to a different question.

It's O.K. it's not as if the points are worth anything, or cost anyone else.

I do think 'sorry' is an overused word though. Perhaps we ought to say, I don't know, or I'm not sure. Anyway thanks for the undeserved 2 points. If you choose the best answer at least you will get 3 points back.

Im guessing not, as there will always be people who want to try to cheat the system by scoring points for answers that are not even answering what there replying to...

These people commonly dont have anything better to do, they think they are big and noteworthy becuase they can answer numerous uestions, not realizing that they actualy show how lacking in inteligence they are by doing so...

The other types you will commonly see are the "Wannabes" - Who answer as many questions as they can hoping to start something, similar to the chat/bbs version of them...

I'm sure the answer to that is no... and that the overwhelming majority of answers to this particular question will be "sorry, I don't know"

Sorry.

i agree, it's a waste of points
while were at it, i also hate people answering to questions with "ewww! that's gross" when they shouldn't be answering those questions in the first place.
if you don't know the answer then don't!
