Get a copy of your credit report. It will include instructions on how to challenge any erroreous items. Follow those instructions TO THE LETTER. For the most part, you must do this in writing. Phone calls won't help.

The credit reporting agencies must verify any challenged items and either provide proof of the accuracy of the item, or remove it from your credit report.

Contacting the creditors may or may not help, but your first step is to challenge the items directly with the credit reporting agencies.

send written letters to the collection agencies, all three of them. Tell them you are disputing the charges and they will have to investigate it. Hopefully, you have proof. If you do, send it with your letter.
