I agree that one is too many. I am wondering if there are statistics and how the stats from different sources vary.

I would like to add that I believe they are all emotionally damaged. That, I think, goes without saying.

2,764 are dead, 59 are women!

18, 356 are wounded, about half having to return to the US for treatment. Many are amputees!!

903 IED fatalities

Vietnam wasn't started over oil, and with body bags coming home daily, this war is far from over!!!

Go to a search engine and type in CNN Iraq casualties or something like that. I don't know where you can get the came home and died stats

What STUDY is not saying is that the reason there are less deaths than that war is because we have the technology in the equipment that we ware over there so that when the bombs blow up they don't kill our guys as much as they would if they were in Nam they just blow up their body parts and our medical equipment is state of the art. When this war reaches it 10 year mark like Nam there will be a huge amount of amputee's that will surpass the amount that came out of Nam

Less than 3000 sinificanly less than the numbers killed in Korea or Vietnam wars.
