Some times it sounds so far away, but other times, it sounds like its in the house with me. It gives me the creeps big time. What should I do?

Hearing voices can be many things - a mental illness, if you haven't had this checked you should. I pick up a radio station due to dental work - had it checked and verified - even my husband can hear it at times - weird - but true. Sometimes I hear in my quiet time of prayer and Bible Study what I call the still small voice of God urging me within my mind to obey and follow what he would have me to do and this is how it should be, and urging from within me to respond to his calling. Pray to God and ask him if what you are hearing is of Him and if it is calling you to do something good and not to be harmful, you have little to be worried about. If you're being ask to hurt yourself or others then you need to seek help immediately.

If the voices are some melody of some instruments, sounds like thunder, etc... this is better. Still you should find out which is the correct sound that will pull you towards inner realms that are meant for you.
In your case you probably hear voices as human voices. Always thoose are mind produced voices, whatever might tell you. In the first case there is just voice saying something or just words with no real meaning. In the other hand there could be voices that are trying to lead you to something. Be careful. Just ignore both ways mind is trying to misled you. The question is. If you can hear thoughts. who are you if you are not that thought. You are then just mere witness.

Actually, listen up, you need to be more specific. Like when do you hear those voices like when you're scared on not in any state. Well, if you hear them when you're scared,
"On horror's head, horror accumiliates" --- Bram Stoker, Dracula's Guest.
This means "When you're scared everything around you is scary..." Let's say you're watching a horror movie SOO SCARY that you're creeped out of your wits and then the phone rings. IT'S NORMAL yet you scream when it does...
If not in the scared state, then you most probably have psychological issues and need professional help.

Honey, everyone's mind does that. That's the animal part of our mind; and there's many things we can do. We need to involve both hemispheres of the brain as that bypasses the animal part of us and engages the human. Try long division, it accesses the human part of the mind. Or do a figure of eight with your whole arm with your finger pointing out and look at the finger. So the whole figure eight travels over a distence 4 feet wide or so. Just over a metre. That might be a visual one.

hi most people take the p when you ask a question like this but to be truthful all the greatest minds have had this kind of experience it does creep me out too when they whisper it sounds kinda threatening , some people say its spirit trying to say something to you others say its a collective conscious . i don't have the answers as to why it happens but your not alone . say go away out loud when your feeling scared it helps .

Turn the radio down. I don't hear voices, but I see lots of questions and answers on my computer. Some are stupid and make no sense. Others are quite clear. Look, here's one now!

Yes. But only to guide me avoid danger. They are not voices the way you think they are. With me they are thoughts and when i'm guided i can tell who is guiding me like his gender /age/personality..etc. And these are our spirit guides. We all have them some stay with us all the time and others come and go when we need help inspiring us with the right actions to our problems.

You probably have a developed right brain lobe giving you more psychic capabilities than others. You can get meds for it if it really bothers you but unless they are telling you to do dangerous things to others, enjoy the experience.

Listen harder if you can.
dont worry if you cant.
And when you hear them try with your mind and self to talk back.
Or you can seek help to stop the vioces which in alot of cases should be considered.

If you have a ghost you should charge rent. Where do they get off living in your place for free. I say lay down the law! They pay rent or they get out!
Be tough but fair and don't try to gouge them on the rent.
