I've been coloring my hair for a long time and I usually have good luck with the products I use, but I was wondering if anyone had opinions on the best treatments or conditioners to "heal" hair.

Thanks!

I have to agree with YD on the cholesterol, but also for a quick home fix, use mayonnaise. Coat your hair, wrap it ina plastic bag for heat from your head, and then wash normally. Also, Aveda Sap Moss is great for fixing split ends and dryness, but it's kind of expensive. Good luck, as I went au natural a few years back from the same problem, now I'm fixed on my natural hair with no problems.

I guess it depends on what hair type you have if you want a deep deep conditioning try to buy some Cholesterol at your local Sally's Beauty Supply put it on after you shampoo and leave it in for a few minutes rinse it out and style you hair it works for me and I have really thick wavy hair.

You cant really heal damaged hair. Conditioners just coat the hair and some are heavier then others.

pantene, does wonders, also, the little deep conditioning "sample packs" they put in hair color will help too... my grandmother saves them for me since she doesn't use them when she colors her hair, and i use them when my hair gets really fried. see if you can get an arrangement like this...
