that's a little silly.. why should his career level bother you? at least if you asked about him having no career, that'd constitute a problem!!!!! but if he's well-settled, that should be a bonus, shouldn't it???

You should never be afraid to fall in love. But if you asked the question, you already are afraid. the question you should be asking is "do i really want to fall in love with a guy that is way more advanced than i am". and the only person that can answer that, is you.

Hell no....you shouldn't be afraid. If he likes you, and you feel the same way, why would you avoid having a relationship with him because of his career? You two may be well suited for eachother....and you'd be risking a chance at complete happiness. Give it a shot!!!

NO, we (guys) like to help our soul mates develop
We aren't comfortable around girls who are more advanced in their careers
(I honestly think that a girl would seek other skies if she were more advanced than her male mate, at least give him a hard time. Let's be honest).
Lala3000 makes an excellent point. Be honest with yourself!! aren't you a little jealous? Jealousy might kill your love, his superiority won't

Oh god, I'm really going to say this - have fun because he probably makes more money than you! But think of it too this way, what sort of conversations can you have at night when he outclasses you? It is easier to maintain relationships with those on your same level.

My gut feeling says yes. You never really know, and every situation is different, but it could be painful for you if he ends up being wrapped up in his career, or if he likes to brag and put others down.

you shouldn't be afraid of anything when your talking about love. Love is when you love someone for who they are no matter what they do or anything else. just look at the future with him and see if it is gonna work out! good luck!
