Ghosts...?

Question

Ghosts are not physical bodies, they must be souls. Right?

Ghosts can be either discarnate spirits or just impressions left behind, like an imprint of energy that can be "read" by sensitive people.

No, ghosts are not souls. The soul is the person, or the life that one enjoys as a person. Thus, Genesis reports that Adam "became a living soul", he was not given a soul. Even animals are called souls in scripture. Thus, we read at Genesis 1:20 that upon God's command the waters swarmed forth with living souls. The Hebrew word rendered "soul" is nephesh.

When Adam died, all of him died. Nothing survives the body at death. Since that is so, what some people call ghosts are nothing more than demons which love to scare people and impersonate dead people, even imitating their voices. In this way, demons fool people into believing that dead people are alive and can talk with the living.

Ghosts are souls who have not figured out where they are suppose to go after death and believe that they are still alive. We are ghost /energy beings animating these human bodies for the purpose of gaming. My understanding is after one dies they experience whatever their strongest belief temporarily until they figure otherwise. There are temporary realities available for every belief systems that humans create. Each game piece is animated by an extension of one's true self and while in the game takes on the shape of the body being used. The true self has a form but is nothing like a human.

When a person dies they are suppose to cross - over, the cross - over is to a different realm. Sometimes this doesn't happen and the spirit of a person gets stuck between realms, these are what we call ghosts. They can be helped by a trained medium to cross over and continue their souls journey. They are not physical but they can be noticed.

They are fallen angels that fell with Satan - Remember the Bible states that 1/3 of the angels in Heaven were cast out with him. They perform tricks like appearing as dead loved ones and other people but they are just evil spirits. Daniel 12:2And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. This verse and others in the Bible states that dead are sleeping in the grave until Jesus returns - that is why there is a resurrection when Jesus comes a second time. I don't believe that there are any ghosts, just peoples overactive imagination in most cases. However there is the possibility that some few instances, such as possession, may be the works of demons.

I don't know what ghosts are or if they exist but I don't like people who don't believe in ghosts - they don't have a proof that there are no such things as ghosts

They are not souls. The bible says after you die you go to a place of rest. Your soul or spirit does not wonder around. The spirits that people see are demons. They assume the appearance of someone who has passed away.
