Can the masses evolve into a higher state of awareness about the things around them and then demand more from the "leaders"? We have new technologies that can change the world for the better but due to greed and power the large rich families like the Rothschilds and Rockefeller refuse to embrace them which in turn is holding mankind back. It is not that we can't do better, it is we have certain powers holding us back. They must be brought to the people's attention and dealt with. It is time for change. Watch this video. Islam will soon have a leader (the Antichrist) who will make such promises. In fact this religion itself touts itself as the most enlightened and is gaining converts despite the adversity and conflicts the heart of Islam (middle east) causes.
The true heart of Islam is demonstrated in the middle east - but some Americanized versions of Islam would have you and I believe it is just a few terrorists and nothing more, steering attention away from those so called more civilized in Islam that celebrated the mass death and destruction of 9-11.
The prophet Daniel was shown a Muslim Mosque from which the Antichrist will reveal himself (don't expect him to announce himself as such) either by debut or by some significant act.
DANIEL 9:27 was shown a contemptible temple sitting on a wing of the former Solomon's Temple (the temple mount, has only the outline of it's foundation). Today we see the Muslim, "Dome of the Rock" mosque which houses a black moon rock that Muslims revere and kiss as a religious object (Idolatry).
The Angel Gabriel also told Daniel in that same passage of scripture that from there would come "one who causes desolations" (the Antichrist).
Now read the entire chapter of Mathew 24. The time is ripe and the Antichrist is coming any time - which from the moment he is made known, there will be about 3 1/2 to 7 years pass and Jesus will come from the sky to put down this enemy of God and man.
A new era will begin as God rules through Jesus for 1000 years.

The masses are evolving, this is not much evident with all the panic and stupidity I see around me, but the collective unconscious evolves and spirals, back and forth, always. The awareness can be addressed by way of the "ostrich with his head in the sand" idea. We want to demand more from the "leaders," but look who is leading. And this money equals power ideology that America is so famous for, that hinders evolved beings from helping the masses. And so, we must not seek to evolve the masses, we should focus on those around us who aren't evolving. Humans are stupid and greedy. Soul is not. An individual battles it's humaness every time it gives freely. Soul is the evolver of the human race. And so, do we really even deserve this utopia yet? No, we'd fight over it, pollute it, then sabotage it, all in the name of God.

Do we not have thousands of years of human history to look upon? We became more technological... but the human spirit remains the same. Without the mercy of God... we will destroy ourselves.
And with North Korea and Iran building nukes... I would be thinking about where you stand with the Lord. The end of the age is drawing near.

What is holding mankind back...? Respect for all others regardless of race, color or creed. Does it start with family? First we must learn to honor/respect those in our own family, then the neighborhood, village, city, county, nation, etc.

"Wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city." Hebrews 11:16.
The Bible declares that God is building a great city for His people. And this city is as real and literal as any you have ever known.
"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven." Revelation 21:2. "O Lord my God ... hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place." 1 Kings 8:28-30.
This great city that is being constructed is, at this moment, in far outer space in God's dwelling place, which is called heaven.
