Its your body changing. The nurse made the appointment just to be on the safe side. Its better to be safe then sorry. Just think positive. Just be sure to let the doctor now of any little things like, color of any discharge, painful sharp pains. The doctor will let you know more.
Good luck!!!!

This is really a cause for worry. If the cramps occur often especially when stress (work, anger, etc)or more in the late afternoon, it can due to a Threatened Abortion. As long as there is no bleeding, you will still be fine. By the way, an ultrasound can be done to check if your baby is also fine. Heartbeats and movement can be seen at this time. Visit your obstetrician so that he can do a check up and request this procedure for you.

Definately check with your doctor to ease your concerns but during the first few weeks your body is changing to adapt to this new life. Your uterus is stretching and growing to get ready for the baby's growth so it sounds to me like you're just feeling that. Congratulations by the way!

I had severe cramping when I was pregnant, it is just your body growing. To be safe and to help ease your fears go to the doctor.

i get stomach cramps no at 24 wks probably because my muscles are fighting the stretching. and i occassionally get a burning feel in my uterus from it stretching.
