No; the North Koreans just proved that their ICBM is a dud-it only lasted 35 seconds! They then fired some short range missiles to avoid complete loss of face. And you shouldn't make light of the Korean conflict, that was an UN sanctioned police action and soldiers from many nations lost their lives along with a lot of Korean civilians. The situation on the Korean peninsula is a tragedy, with many divided families and North Koreans facing starvation while dear leader wastes his nation's money on dud missiles and nuclear bombs. You are to be pitied if you take any satisfaction from that.

You are losing the plot, but I did chuckle when I saw how your fake news report ended up with a reference to the USA military "crapping its pants".......
I think that highly unlikely somehow as the North Korean long range missile was only in the air for 23 seconds before it malfunctioned and nearly landed back on top of the people that fired it.
In light of that it may be a good thing if they got nukes as they would probably wipe themselves out with the worlds biggest Friendly Fire incident!

The answer to your question is no, the U.S fears North Korea like Mike Tyson would fear Micheal Jackson. North Korea is just feeling lonely now that Iran is the focus of the worlds attention. North Korea now is acting up like the ignored middle child, and just like a child acting up should be spanked and put in time out for awhile.

Check your history wise one. North Korea scares no one but south korea. If we need to we can just unleash Japan on their butts. I think China is the one crapping their pants. North Korea is like the 5 foot 5 drunk dude that just called a 6 foot 6 black man a slur. Meanwhile best friend China is standing behind him going he just drunk, dont mind him, he's just drunk.

North Korea is broke and no position to attack anyone, this is an attempt to get the Western countries to lift the trade sanctions and give the same financial aid to Korea as they do with other third world countries.

Butt Beating? Dude, please check your history again. You are extremely misinformed!
Funny thing about all of this nonsense, if we ever get decent leadership in the White House who decided that the Citizens of the US are trustworthy and reasonable, then people like you will be quaking in your boots. You'd be surprised what the US can (and will) do.
But, then again, you are just another pinhead on Yahoo! Answers.
