Hoping people can suggest a nice neighborhood, not completely gentrified but also safe and a community that people just want to be a part of.

La Crescenta, Calofornia 91214 is the best I've lived in so far.
I am a native Angeleno and have lived several places from San Gabriel Valley to the San Fernando Valley and I'm happiest in La Crescenta. Their schools are mostly California Distinguished...the main drag is Foothill Blvd., and there's not a Target, Wal-Mart, or Home Depot for miles (just a few, but still). The ares is graced with the tiny nearby town of Montrose and there is a farmers market there every weekend. The area has not seen improvements in years but it's not dumpy or worn down...I would say it probably looks like it did 25-30 years ago. The homes are still priced within a reachable amount, but it is still LA County. La Canada is another beautiful area, but you can add an extra zero for any property you might want to buy here. Otherwise, I would suggest the Burbank area. It is still affordable, schools are decent and it is the hub for entertainment studios and YAHOO!

i become raised in Downey California, It become tremendous then, nonetheless is, yet small city not truly exist the following close to l. a.. you may want to come to Rancho Cucamonga or Upland, yet that receives into the Inland Empire element of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Palm Dale is okay , yet purely particular aspects. the finest element to do is come on out and take a strong go searching. I were in CA my total existence and each and each and every time i bypass to a unique state, I see how eco-friendly and proper that's, the air is cleanser and the all of us is kinder. you may want to be completely waiting to stay in a California city. Santa Clarita. Check out its stats on the web.. Voted 4th safest City of it's size in the US. Our schools are among the best in California. I have never seen a town so geared toward families. The amount of activities and resources here for children are amazing.

I lived in Ventura for years.. it is one of the safest cities in the U.S. Thousand Oaks. Simi or Moorpark all are wonderful places...still have smaller town feel.
I grew up in Newport Beach and Irvine is also on the list..but way more expensive.. good luck finding the perfect place..aloha
