i want to learn japanese but i'm not sure if it's so hard to learn.. i know just a little bit. now i'm trying to learn the katakana alphabet by myself because there's noone knows japanese around me. and can i learn it on internet?

Hello,

I speak and write Japanese, Japanese isn't a hard Language to learn, you just have to structure your work. Honestly you have nothing to worry about incomparison to katakana and Kanji, kanji need more time to adjust.

Here are a few recommended books that will guide you through.

1.Teach yourself Japanese
2.Colloquial Japanese
3.Living Language Japanese
4.Berlitz Japanese
5.Lonely Planet Japanese
6.Let's learn Hiragana
7.Lets learn Katakana
8. Lets Learn Kanji <-----this is the same as the chinese characters.
9. Ultimate Japanese: Basic-Intermediate
10.Beginner's Japanese
11.Beginner's Kana Workbook
12.All About Particles: A Handbook of Japanese Function Words
13.Minna no nihongo
14.Japanese for busy people, which comes in Katakana/Kanji/Hiragana.

Remember to check your local library for the books because they are expensive to buy as well.
