It's all about the parents. They're 10.. it's not like they're going to be going to the theatre alone to watch porn.. take control and know that you're kids are doing and what they're watching. At 10.. it's your responsibilty and yours alone.

I make sure that my son has other things to do I always keep him involved in outside activities I take him to the library everyday for a group study time he owns almost every Richard Scary DVD known to man I take him to water parks during the summer of course we get together with other children and parents and have a movie night, and should something come up that he has a question about I explain it to him because I feel that acting like it is wrong or forbidden will only make him seek answers else where and I prefer he get all the info on sex that he needs from me I just make sure he knows that its not something he should be doing until he's an adult, I think answering his questions now will male him comfortable asking me those questions later on in his teen life.

Sex is everywhere. You can't voice a complaint to the public because sex is what sells. Just block your children from watching things that you may think are inappropriate or have the computer blocked. You can't complain about the things that come on television because most of the raunchy things that come on television come on mtv, bet, vh1, E!, and channels like that. If your child is being exposed to sex then what are they doing watching these channels? Maybe your parenting skills need to be questioned. While you are typing this question your child could be watching something inappropriate as we speak. So its not just the media, we have to point the finger back at us as well.

Parental control. A computer in the bedroom? Not smart if you wanna protect kids. Television should be minimal. But they'll get exposed to it at school, so stopping it altogether is difficult.

It's the way they are raised that will determine if they act on any such exposure. Be the best example you can be. No video's, toys left out. Be sure to talk to your children starting at a YOUNGE age...2-3 in words they can understand. Be OPEN, UNDERSTANDING, PATIENT, TRUTHFUL and ALWAYS open to discussion...

I dont think we can stop it altogether. Kids pick things up at school, on tv, everywhere. The best thing you can do is to be a good parent, monitor what your children watch, what they do online, who they play with outside of school, etc.

You have to sit down and explain it to them as far as the subject sex is concerned because if you don't they will find out from friends and so forth, You can't advoid it sad to say just talk to them you rather you do it than someone else.
