Think about this...
Man has been inventing religions for thousands of years : sun worship, moon worship, ocean worship, star worship, Egyptian religion, Inca religion, Aztec religion, Maya religion, Native American religion, Greek religion, Roman religion, Aboriginal religion, African tribal religions, mono theistic religions, Maori religion etc etc. the current crop of religions seem to be more in the long list of man made religions that have come and gone over the millenia.

Actually yes. You're right. Jesus was a man. Even if he was the son of God. Every religion that I've ever heard of has a man spreading that respective gospel (forgive the term). That doesn't mean that they're all wrong. But just to put it out there, they were all founded by different people.
In fairness to the four people out there that actually still believe in mythology, noone was here to determine whether Zeus lived on mount olympus, so, maybe he moved to Jupiter on his interstellar battle cruiser or something.
Seriously though, it seems to anyone who's not biased that most religions were created by man. But, you never know. I believe in God, though I'm not sure who he is or whether he even gives a crap about Earth, or whether he even knows it exists.
On the larger issue not presented in your question, even if we find out exactly how the Big Bang works (which we haven't), and develop an exact chart showing where life-bearing planets have and will appear (which we won't), you still can't prove there's not a God. Someone will still be able to say, "well, how can you KNOW it wasn't all caused by God." and they'll be right. we don't know that it wasn't all caused by God.

Yes. All the religions are man-made. Man not only gave them different names, but also made it a way to analyse people depending the religion one follows.
In all this hassel, one forgot the ultimate? the fact that religion is nothing but a faith and direction to communicate with the almighty. No man has ever seen, jesus, Allah, Ram or whatever name you give, than why they fight in names of all this? I personally believe in a Supreme Power through whom and because of whom the whole universe exist. This faith in the Supreme power is my religion and this power is my God. I know i have been given birth for a purpose, i am born as a human being and my first religion is humanity, the moment i go against humanity in order to follow the so called religions, i am killing humanity. This is what my religion is all about.
I wish people could only and only follow humanity, than we would not need any other religion.

All religion is man made but it all makes the same claim that it comes from God. This is partially true but people can never stand to leave Gods word alone. This is because god’s word is consistent and does not mesh well with their personal preconceptions and bigoted ideas. So they make little changes here and there injecting their thoughts into the mix tainting the word with nonsense. For this reason you should not put much faith in these ideas about god that come from others. If God wants to tell you something He is perfectly capable of telling you directly.
Maybe you should stop reading what other people say about God and ask him to tell you what he wants you to do directly. Stop reading; clear you mind and listen. When you pray get you’re talking over as soon as possible and listen. He is trying to talk to you but your mind is full of nonsense from the bible and other sources. Don’t be surprised if what you hear does not sound much like what you have been told about God. You will be hearing Gods message minus the nonsense.
In your bible study have you ever heard of the small still voice? You can't hear it if your mind is otherwise occupied with other people’s silly ideas about God. Just try it you will be surprised

I think so. But I don't think it matters. If people are happy believing in God then why interfere. The problem is when people are imposing and insulting. Because I believe something different doesn't make me evil, lost, or stupid. And vice/verse because you believe in your religion doesn't make you ignorant or naive. And since this is only what I think I'm not saying it to be fact. So instead of arguing about what's true about religion or my beliefs I just live by my tenets be kind, be good, live and let live, do unto others as you want done unto you etc.

Notice that the "religion" as you call it concerning Jesus has not come and gone, it is still here and has been for thousands of years. Yes some religions, even many are man made but the truth of Jesus and the one "religion", established by God the real God is not man made it is God made.

All religions basically exhort mankind to be righteous and eschew evil. But Islam
goes beyond that. It guides us towards practical ways of achieving
righteousness and eliminating evil from our individual and collective lives. Islam
takes into account human nature and the complexities of human society. Islam
is guidance from the Creator Himself. Therefore, Islam is also called the Deenul-
Fitrah (the natural religion of Man).

I cannot accept and will not accept any man covered in religion telling me what i should and should'nt do. Especially when they have the same faults and involuntary dreams as i do. Dictating to me on what the Bible says (their interpretation of it) and sit by watching death, Famine, genocide and persecution of people but can still curry favour with big business and Government. My way is simple treat others as you would like to be treated, help where possible and be honest to yourself, but most of all do not hurt anyone.

If there was a God and he created a religion, or belief system that was an essential part of human existence, everyone would be following that belief.
The absence of any such doctrine is conclusive proof that if God exists, he did not invent any religion. And, religion is irrelevant to him (it?).

The religions with multiple gods in them were inspired by nature itself - i.e. not man-made. When they strated inventing intricate stories however (mythology) it went another way, and when all these stories were superseeded by the Bible, religion has been man-made entirely ever since.

Man made the notion of religion, and societies made the need.
The two meet and formed a religion of the societies expectations formed by gossip.
