Just be yourself. That way, you'll know if she really likes the real you. Obviously, there are some little things that won't take a lot of effort and might help (i.e manners and the politics that come with them) but to get that right, you'll both need to play it by ear and get a feel for the other's preferences. Any modifications will need to be small though or you won't be able to keep it up!

be urself and be nice to the girl. Before u go on the date, be sure to look neat. U dont have to wear very expensive clothes but girls dont like smelly guys or guys who look like they never bathed in weeks.
If u can, pick her up instead of letting her meet u at the bus stop or subway station. Flowers might be too much but sometimes girls love them so it's up to u.
Because u were the one who asked for the date, u should pay her bill.
U should also ask her if she has curfew so u can get her back home in time. It's best if u can walk her or drive her home. If u do, wait for her to enter her house safely before u leave.
One more thing. during the date, u shouldnt be so "pushy" as if u're already her boyfriend or anything. Just be casual and nice. AND please let her talk, because girls love guys who listen, instead of talking about themselves
Best of luck for ur date. hope this helps

If u really like this girl then don't play any games! just be honest and try to relax, if u put on an act it will only come back on u later. but don't come on 2 strong, as the date goes on you'll get a good idea of how she feels and it'll be easier to see where the date is heading

Just be you! Don't spend all evening talking about yourself - ask interesting questions about your date. Pay her compliments, take her a gift (flowers). Give her a goodnight kiss on the cheek, then go home. She will respect you for showing her some respect.
Phone her NEXT DAY (she will be expecting it), tell her what a great time you had and arrange another date.
Good Luck - just let things develop naturally at their own pace.

Be yourself...in the long run, that is what the backbone of a relationship is based on. If you are fake and phoney and make her believe you are something that you are not, it only makes her think you were a poser of phony to being with. Just ask her to go to something YOU like and see if she is interested...if not, she may not be the right girl for you.

-Be yourself first and foremost.
-Keep the date light, and fun.
-Don't dress up too much!
-Ditch the OTT aftershave. Make sure you smell clean, but not overpowering!
-Don't make the date too intimate, best places are bowling alleys, bars with pool tables, ice skating, places where you can have a laugh
-Don't talk about your ex girlfriends
-A light, fun date, will be easier to escape from than a restaurant should it go pear shaped.
-If you aren't naturally a comedian, don't try to be.
-Tell her she looks lovely, but don't go over the top, or talk about your future, it's just the first date.
-Finally, good luck :)

First of all you should be yourself and act like a gentleman, and then you should treat her like a lady by opening doors for her to enter or exit, treat with respect and finally do not be afraid to ask her questions about her self.
