Ayotollah kohomeni had over 7000 Bahai people murdered in iran, and it still goes on. I have been to iran , met some Bahai's and witnessed the persecution that they are put through by muslims.
How come islam is peaceful?

It's not Islam ... It's politics ...

and Muslims are humans .. amongst them you can find the good and the bad ... so not every Muslim who does something wrong resembles Islam and all other Muslims around the world ...

I am a Baha'i (which originated in Iran), and Islam *is* a peaceful religion.

Again I will reiterate that unfortunately, it has been perverted by militant extremists with their own personal gains in mind (mainly power).

I am glad you have asked this question, as many people do not know what the Baha'is are going through, but in truth we are being persecuted just like every other religion has been in its time, Islam and Christianity included.

Thank you for bringing attention to our plight. I hope that as more people become aware of it, more changes will come about.

Best wishes.

I don't know where you got the 7000 figure for Baha'is killed since the Khomeini revolution, but it is far too high. The real number is somewhere over 200, and most of those occured in the early years.

The fundamentalists in charge finally got it thru' their heads that killing people for their religious beliefs upsets human rights activists who are very influential in the west. As a result, in the early 90's they adopted a more subtle program to completely eliminate the remaining Baha'is in Iran, as laid out in a secret memorandum leaked to the U.N. in 1993.

The severe Administrative courtroom of Egypt Granted the bahais the right to have their faith listed in the identity. frequently, itemizing the religion in the identity is a stupid practice. and encourages not some thing yet hatred and racism.

The majority of this worlds religions are based around very similar principles. In all religions' scriptures there has been a time to kill. In modern society, religious leaders use these scriptures as reference to receive support from their followers and fulfill personal agendas.
You cant blame muslims in general for these murders. This is a crime committed by a religious leader who uses his power and influence to control his followers.
