Do you know there are over 250,000,000,000 stars (250 billion stars) in our galaxy Milky Way. The distance between stars is about 30,000,000 miles (30 million ). Studies of distant space with optical and radio telescopes indicate that there may be about 100,000,000,000 (100 billion) galaxies in the universe.

Muslim perspective abt Space travel is encouraging ...as Allah the Almighty has encouraged men to find and discover new things .... whether they r out of the planet ...
talking abt prayers and prayer directions ..it wont matter alot ..as the timings of prayers are judged upon the sun set and rise ..... we can calculate these things in today scientific world.....

the Islam is a universal message, literally universal. the message was sent to those on the heavens and on earth and those between them. prayer directions would be towards earth, as the kiblaa is on earth.
