Not really. But I have a friend who does that for me. I'll save my breath for more important things.
It's kinda annoying when people do that, especially when men do it and do not care for the elderly or the children who would have needed the seat or spot more than they do.

like on a bus or train? we can't really do that on a bus because we have to get in line but on the train the many doors open wide and everyone can rush in and grab seats.

arrived early at the movies to get back row, centre seat (have bad eyes and need to sit there to see the screen properly - I know, wierd cause the screen is so big), raced a friend to get the seat, that's about it.

No. I was never that shallow, I always gave my seat to a woman or the elderly.

yes! especially on the bus, or on the first day of school when we have to pick a seat for the rest of the year.
I think it's pretty normal... :-)

well yes who doesn't want the best for oneself.i have messed up lot of things in the rush of getting a good seat.i always do it in the bus;classroom;theater;movie hall;even at home too.well i want to adjust in the best place
