no metallic and no glosses. go with colors that emphasize your features with out being "look at me". i would say a light coat of maroon and blot to get a stain-like look. for the eyes definitely use mascara and a neutral shadow. if you have any blemishes use a foundation, but only if you know how to do it properly so it looks invisible. it's better to have some blemishes then badly done make-up.
don't forget your nails, they get a lot of attention shaking hands and things. no bright colors, not even red. either leave them plain neatly trimmed or go for a classic like a french manicure.

huuhhh LOL :)

LIPSTICK- Well, The best lipstick is no lipstick, just a nice pink gloss, or a tan, cakee color a little darker than your real lips/skin or a very suddel pinkish color, just put a little lip gloss/chapstick before you put on the lipstick, so the lipstick glides on softley, and easily. Don't cover your whole lips in lipstick, I'd say Do about half of each lip, and rub you lips together so that it covers everything!

EYES- For Eyes find a VERY LIGHT white glitter, not too noticeable, Put this color everywhere on you eyes all the way up to you eyebrow!(you shoulden't really notice the difference) Next, Find a brown color, like peddle, and put it on your whole eye lid. Find a brown that is a little darker, and put it on you crease.

-Good Luck, hope you get the job!

Corporate America: Based on the color suit you will wear, I would stick with the neutrals. Fad and trendy colors should not be worn in the office. Keep it business. If this interview is important to you please contact a good Mary Kay beauty consultant to schedule an appointment. She will customize the colors that are right for you, allow you to try them at your appointment FREE, The price is right but you are not obligated to buy! Go to www.marykay.com to search for a Consultant. If possible ask for a Sales Director. There was a study done that said women who wore makeup had a better chance in getting the job. She had a more polished look. Make sure you have great shoes and purse (Not too big or too small) Great success to you.

Wheatish in color?? That I don't understand, but any makeup for an interview should be understated and in neutral tones. Nude colored eyeshadow (I'm a fan of Revlon Illuminance Cream Shadows in Not Just Nudes) and mascara should do it for the eyes. For lipstick, go with a matte pink that is close to the color of your lips. The lilac metallic, maroon, brown, and pinkish violet are out.

the best make-up for an interview is always done in tones of brown and beige. that also includes light gold, vanilla, maroon. Or, if you prefer, you can choose a pinkish make-up. But don't even think about fuchsia, real pink or salmon. it should be a light pink to violet(lilliac)and grey. these two look very natual, and they alwas work. If ou like lipstick, you should wear one that is very natural, like peach, sheer plum, beige, champagne. I'd go for a no-colour gloos, like FULL VOLUME liqud lip colour-crystal by rimmel
