they would **** their pants....Dubya is doing everything except the draft to get people into the military e.g. lie, cheat, unethical practices, going to poor areas in cities.
id say there is a 50/50 chance he will probably do it so keep a look out for....

Im not sure what the rest of the youth would do...but i certainly would not protest...for the simple fact that in vietnam it really did absolutely nothing...they still drafted and plenty of people were killed. So my best answer to that question is to get a friend to run over your foot with a truck so that you are an unfit for combat...or else just go with the flow and DIE!

I don't know the answer to your question but I wish they would reinstate the draft! I think it would do wonders for the country and the attitude of the youth in america!

Some people would fight it, some people would resign to it, some people would enlist before getting drafted, some people would run.
If the draft is reinstated should females be included?

Same things they did 40 years ago: protest marches, dodge the draft, enlist, go to jail for not enlisting...

i can't help but feel that a draft may be very near... with whats going on iraq.. and now iran and n.korea... the thought is very frightening... World War is near... i just hope that there is not a draft~!
