Contact the firms directly, and ask them if you can gain some experience in their offices as part of the course you are doing at present, or as a field you want to go in when you have finished your education.

Your school, college or university will know which ones in your area have previously taken students for a while.

you need to talk to your education for careers teacher at your school, they should be able to advice you on how and what to write to the solicitor of your choice
