Age doesn't always play apart in this matter and if he really love s you then go with it. After 18 its only a number anyway, just be a good roll model since you have more experience.

OK, so a I am guessing that you are married. And you are having an affair with a younger/older man? The first question is, WHY are you having the affair? Are you unsatisfied with your man? How long have you been married? Why are you seeking the affair? Does your husband not sexually, mentally, emotionally fulfill you? Then the question is do you wanna get caught or not? That will decide if you are successful in your affair or not..................

Probably not. You don't mention if he is married or if he has additional baggage such as children, etc., etc.
Age is not the discriminating factor here. What is - is the situation involving the affair. Lies, dishonesty, and not being able to have a normal relationship, after awhile becomes degrading and stressful. Who wants a life like that? I know i wouldn't because i like to be able to sleep at night and not concern myself with things as the aforementioned.

Success of love is how compatible you are with your love. How much you are complementing to each other... How much you share and can talk with your love.. If you can talk for hrs and hrs even after so much of living together.. i am sure you will be able to succeed what may be the age difference.. Love is all about feeling each other.. so just be positive on how you feel and how your love feels on you.. and life will be just great.. Cheers

Ask yourself if it is lust or love that you are after, because "love" and "affair" seem to create some confusion.
If you think you love this guy and he loves you, ask yourself if he will stick around when things get tough. And create a context to test this. (carefull don't do anything dangerous)
I assume it is more love than lust that you have in mind. So, test his love in many ways but please be gentle/compassionate doing it, because people can get hurt deeply with this kind of "test". You also risk being found out or damaging trust.
