If a guy has protein in his urine, what does that indicate??? Is it something to do with kidney prob???

Not True. He may be getting too much protein and just wasting it away or if me has torn a muscle he can urinate protein fibers which make muscles.

protein in urine known as proteinuria may be a pathologic state that may indicate kidney problem mainly glomerulonephritis " inflammation of kidney " otherwise it may be normal state in which some semen " sperms" escaped in urine

It is a clear indiacation of kidney problem. The problem could be temporary / reversibile or could be of more serious nature. Often it is a result of conditions like diabetes or hypertension.Consult a good kidney specialist immediately.

First,, It must be quantitated,,, if trace and he is atheletic, it may be postural proteinuria,,, otherwise it may be a kidney problem,, he must perform kidney function tests,,and abdominal ultrasound
