Your best bet is to just go to a store and check things out in person. I always find that works way better than looking online. If you have a specific product in mind you should go to their corporate website or google it. Another way to go is to look up big agencies that do primarily packaging design work and look at their portfolios. Like I said earlier though, I find it much more helpful to just go out to a few stores and check things out there. It's much better when you have a real tactile sense of the package you're holding.

if you want to get a professionaly designed package then post a project on elance.com. They have lots of professional designers with experience in this field.

If you want to design it yourself (not recommended unless you are a pro) then you can look thru the portfolios for samples.

If you want to see what other snack companies are doing get a subscription to kwikeesystems.com. They have high res images of snack packaging from companies like Kraft, Nestle, P&G etc.

or you can hire me to design it for you. I am the best packaging designer in the universe!

are you working for advertising? maybe you can buy actual snack products as design pegs then get some elements that you might need for your future reference - graphics, color, food photography. getting the real thing and observing it is sometimes better than just relying on surfing sites.
