of course. let me remind you that portugal have only qualified for 3 previous world cups. and they havent got out of the group stages in 40 years. so to take portugal to the finals in the euro's and now the semi's in the world cup is truly amazing.

and we had the best qualifying record and won all of our games except the england one this time round.

I believe he is a good coach, is he the best coach out of the current remaining teams in the world cup, is he the best coach at the 2006 World Cup? No, i believe Guss Hidink is better, Scolari has a star- studded squad, whereas Australia did not and they made it out of the group stages. P.S. Before the 2006 World- Cup, Australia only made it once into a World Cup and didnt score 1 goal.

Scolari might be but I fell French Coach is a good one.
But the tricks they played against 10-men England were bizarre.

Best coaches at the World Cup:-

Luis Felipe Scolari (Portugal) - Give him credit, he's taken an ordinary side, with ageing greats like Figo and moulded them into potential world champions. Whilst not being attractive to watch, they get results and work hard. Not bitterness from an Englishman here, just acknowledging a proven fact.

Guus Hiddink (Australia) - Took South Korea to the Semi's in 2002 and Australia to the second round this time around. Not to mention the number of trophies he's won at club level.

Marcello Lippi (Italy) - The Italians actually look like they might win it and are playing as a solid team unit. Judging by last nights performance to, they look like they might be crowned world champions. Lippi deserves credit for this.

Raymond Domenech (France) - Taken an ageing French side to the Semi-Final and possibly onto victory in the tournament. They've also played some amazing football and he's got the best of out Zidane.

Jurgen Klinsmann (Germany) - Took an average German side and turned them into one of the best in the world. They look like the German sides of old and the future looks bright.

Worst manager:-

Sven Goran Eriksson (England) - Inexplicable how he managed to make players like Steven Gerrard look decidely ordinary as well as sending England out to play some of the most boring and negative football at the World Cup. Not to mention his questionable and baffling tactics and decisions (Theo Walcott?)

getting a team to scrape through against a 10 man opposing team, by playing dirty and downright cheating? No that is not a good coach.
he IS better than Sven Goran Erikson though. But then, who isn't? I could do a far better job than Sven.

I like the look of the Australian Coach - seems to instil a good playing ethic in his underdog teams.

I think he is good, he seems to be passionate about the game and really inspires his players to do well. As for SGE he just looked like he couldn't be arsed, he looked like an Asda manager with his green cord for his pass round his neck!!!! ps - I love Cristiano Ronaldo!
