Join a few more like minded people and take up the matter with the channel telecasting them. The issue may be taken up with your elected representatives (MLAs / MPs) and they may be asked to use their good offices (provided their own interests don't clash with yours!). You may also complain to Prasar Bharati at their Head Quarter at the Director General, Prasar Bharati, Mandi House, New Delhi - 110 001.

i am really fed up of these low quality high emotions with out any logic serials, need to do some thing. I happened to be in chennai, when there was a slight earth quake at around 8:15 in the night, we were staying in an appartment, and every one in the visinity came running out of their flat into the street, no body dared to enter their house, guess what happened at 8:30, u r right, since there was a famous and stupid serial which was to start at 8:30, every one went inside.
It cud be stopped only when u bring some kind of entertainment and amusement outside the house, and make them believe that its a sin :) watching the serials

Very simple , daily see a new channel or make law for the t. v. compinies as a mak e low thant means nany serias must contain max. 10 episods exppect the comedy, the genral knowledge / and expect the Ramayan / Mahabharat
