One good reason to put this question in Mathematics section could be that you already know there are so many people responsible that only a qualified mathematician can keep an account.
Otherwise I do not find any good reason to post this question here.

Basically it is the UNO who is responsible for world peace but is helpless and behaving like a hungry duck not taking any notice of the occurrences taking place around it.
Just worried about the funding. Bad luck.

the roots of terrorism can be found in the society of 80s, when cold war between US and the x URSS led to them both trying to find new allies in the arabian countries (mostly for oil resources); they both made huge politically mistakes with serious consequences in the future, but which then seemed ok. They both acted selfishly, thinking only about the near future, and look what they did. Terrorists are desperate people, and desperate people have nothing to lose. They are unable to understand our way of life, they aren't civilised. They are so stuck in their misudnerstood culture & religion, that the only solution is total eradication.
SO, as a conclusion, i think lack of education is responsible. If 20 years ago the "greatest" coutnry in the world would have invested in the education, civilization, opening of minds in the arabian countries, things would have been so much different now. But now the arabs have nothing to eat, and tons of oil, which the us needs for its citizens. So stop driving ur car, and maybe, just maybe, bush (or the ones who manipulate him) will understand.

Someone wisely said:
"Terrorism is the war of the poor. War is the terrorism of the rich."
What the US, Britain, Israel, China and others do is terrorism, it just has the "credibility" offered by UN recognition.
Who is responsible for terrorism? Any group or country that uses force to get what it wants.

Terrorism is rooted in deep hatred for some race or people. There may be reasons for this hatred. Most generally the reason for hatred is colonization.
The colonizers may be the people with superior technology, or more money, or more number. But only 'more' does not make them colonizers. They have to be oppressive to 'the other' people who are not so advanced technologically, monetarily or numerically. Once you have colonizers and you have colonized, you have a perfect mixture for terrorism.
Now the colonizers will oppress the colonized, they will mock them and try to attack the culture of colonized people. The colonizers stand on the island of excellence while the colonized people all around them are burning in the fire of poverty and humiliation. This gives rise to the dissatisfaction and the armed release of this dissatisfaction is terrorism.

I'm going to go for Dr Johnson since there wouldn't be any if the word "terrorism" hadn't been invented
(ok ok I know Dr Johnson didn't invent the word, he only wrote the first English dictionary - but I thought I'd try to be different here :o) )

i'd not say the U. S. is to blame for terrorism, i'd say that those who lead the authorities contained in the U. S. are to blame for it. i don't love labelling human beings and stereotyping them. similar as maximum persons do even as they call all arabs and muslims as terrorists, i'd not say that all US help the movements that were taken by Bush and his authorities. the U. S. human beings comprehend by now that Bush is in straight forward words combating terrorism contained in the middle EAST to guard israel and to take each of the wealth and oil got here upon there in the different case why hasn't he tried to wrestle terrorism in pakistan or north korea or sudan or somalia or south usa of america.. why in straight forward words in iran, iraq, lebanon and syria??? the in straight forward words aspect that had happened even as he became combating terrorism is making extra human beings hate the U. S... a number of those those who're lack of life now contained in the wrestle hostile to terrorism had felt sorry for what happened in 9/11 and they'd no longer something to do with terrorism
