Since I*m living on planet Earth, I would say; I need both the sun and the moon. The sun gives light during day time whose beauty seen by the naked eye during sunset and the moon during night time.

One responder asks, can you look [safely] at the sun? Of course you can, with the proper equipment, and it is a fascinating thing to look at if you have the gear: you can see prominences, flocculi, sunspots, and many other interesting and changing things. The moon, by contrast, doesn't change much, so I don't find it nearly as interesting.

it's like that old joke: which is better the sun or moon? answer: the moon cos it lights up during the night and makes you see well, but the sun lights up during the day (useless)!!!!!

In india astrological calculations are according to moon.
while western astrologers calculate according to sun.
If ur birth place is india then prefer moon otherwise sun.

the poroblem is i cannot see sun but i love it because i like sunrising and sunsetting very much so my vote is for sun
