What is the use of Windows Messenger & can we log on windows mssgr via Yahoo id also or we must have msn id?

Also whether it is better than Yahoo messenger, if yes HOW

Windows messenger has better looks and features. You need a hotmail or msn id to log in.

Windows Messenger is almost the same with Yahoo Messenger, but we cannot use Yahoo ID to use it, consequently we have to get ourselves a MSN ID. Windows Messenger comes one package with Windows, so we don't have to download it anymore if we use Windows. I like Yahoo Messenger better.

You have to have MSN ID to log on to Windows messenger. Yahoo! Messenger has more features, is more widely accepted and is, therefore, better.
