Because that's our human nature. Does this answer your question my friend

I'm assuming that you're speaking of questions that basically are ones asked simply to gain a reaction...such as one previously asked that "if you saw your mother masturbating what would you do". In that case it's my opinion that it does show a lack of intelligence, not everyone has the same level of intelligence. There's always one in a group who thinks that a smartassed question and/or response is somehow funny or cute. What they fail to understand is that while humor is wonderful, it like many things has it's place, and when used inappropriately shows more ignorance then humor. I looked through some of the answers you've already received and found most answered honestly and intelligently, but as always a few did so thinking their remarks were somehow funny. A missed opportunity to discuss something intelligently, is an opportunity never regained. And for that person a missed chance at learning.

Even "intelligent questions" reveal ignorance. Your question, while most likely inspired by a facetious motive, is, in fact a question revealing your ignorance and, from what you imply in your question, an unintelligent one. Every question shows ignorance; the goal is to determine what questions are worth asking, based upon the potential knowledge gained from their asking. This question really has little intellectual value, but I think one ignorant human is worth five minutes.

Yes. My thoughts exactly. It goes to show how intelligent we as a culture are nowadays. We as a people of one of the gratest countries in the world have even accepted to read and write as uneducated third county nationals...how pathetic is that.
