Not a whole lot.Republicans tend to spend money on government program (defense, etc.) while Democrats tend to spend money on government services (welfare, etc.). The end result is they spend a whole lot of money that they really don't have.

If you sit down and think about what government should be, and compare it to what actually happens when Democrats and Republicans are running the show, you are likely to see that there is a world of difference between your ideals and modern reality.
Thus, when you find that there is a world of difference between what 'our' government representatives should be doing, and what they actually do, you too will come to see that there isn't much difference between the Dems & the Repubs.

republicans are for big business while democrats try to help the common man. who just voted down a raise in the minimum wage?republicans.i would like to see one of them try to make it on minimum wage,even for just a month.
but if you ask me it shouldn't be about reps or dems it should be about who has the best idea to fix the problems we are faced with.
