The whole ship is at the bottom of the N. Atlantic. If they tried to raise it, it would fall apart. but there are pieces of it in exhibits. And just recently they raised a large section of the hull about 15 tons - the largest piece ever recovered.

I believe that the ship is still underwater. It would take A LOT to raise the entire ship, drag it into a port, and then trasport it for display at a museum. They would probably have to use deep sea submarines to dismantle it and reconstruct parts of it in a museum, nothing I know of would hold the entire ship.
However, I do believe they have taken parts and pieces of it back to museums.

It's 2 1/2 miles down on the bottom of the Atlantic. They can't raise it because it's so bad deteriorated that it would crumble. They say that in another 20 years, it'll be pretty much gone due to the rust particles eating away at it.

it's still very much under water. I don't think it could ever be raised since it is so big and heavy and at the bottom of the atlantic.

Yes, it is. And I think it is disgusting that people would even think of disturbing a grave site.
