A tie between Joe Montana and Steve Young. Because both of them were awesome, accurate QB's, that lead their team into victory many times and were really exciting to watch.

If I could pick one player from any era I would choose on Offence Walter Payton. He could run, catch and get you those few extra yards that you needed on a fourth and one. He was one of those guys that you could always count on in the crunch.

On defence I would chose Lawrence Taylor, the most dominate force on defence that I ever saw, he could cover the running back, play the zone, and even catch the ball when it was thrown his way, something that today's linebackers can't seem to do at times.

Offense:

Tie between Montana and Brady, come on now honestly, the person who actually said Vince Young. Who would you rather have in a playoff game, 2 min to go down by 4. Montana/Brady (take your pick) or Vince Young (who has yet to throw an NFL pass) behind center.

Case Closed.........OWNED

Defense: Singletary is a good pick, Butkus, Lambert, Urlacher.....LT.......

It all starts at MLB, the one exception to the rule was LT in his prime was sick.........But a strong D starts with a strong MLB......if I had to pick from the above only one guy? I would take Butkus

Joe Montana from the 80's-90's 49ers. All the guy did was make clutch throws and win games.

I would definately say Walter Payton would be my offensive pick. The guy could beat you in so many ways. Whether its blocking, receiving, rushing, getting a yard on 4th and goal.

Jim Brown...Possibly the most dominant offensive player in history. A complete one man wrecking crew.

Joe Montana. Record says it all. Though I'd also strongly recommend Jerry Rice in his prime.
