Ok, I know this question has been asked before, but I want answers directly to this. Okay, I know this is wrong but I've been kinda seeing a married woman for the past 9 months now and I recently met her b/c we live far apart. She's a few years older than I am. She says that she's separated from her husband and she's waiting on a divorce. So anyway, should I just stop this now before it gets any deeper and how long does it take to get a divorce? Please don't bash me on this, I know how it sounds already, believe me.

Well coming from someone who was seeing a married women as well as being married myself. If your serious about her keep the sex out of it. The pain and hurt you cause is not worth it believe me. Depending on the state but usually a divorce that is consential takes a couple of months. Secondly messing around with another mans women can get you killed. Just something to think about. If yall really care about each other time isn't a factor.

If you were seeing her while she was in the proses of getting a divorce, and she is separated, then I don't see it as wrong. If you had been seeing her before the divorce proceedings started, that would have been wrong.

On a side note, I love my husband so much,a nd he loves me! I will never divorce him, and I will not see other men while he is in Afghanistan... I am so anxious to have him back safe.

I think it's a really bad idea to date a married woman. I think you should wait until the divorce is final. For one thing, they might get back together. For another thing, his lawyer could make her declare money she spends on you as dissipation of marital resources. Thirdly you deserve a person who is free of entanglements. You might have low self esteem if you allow yourself to get in a relationship where a lot of energy of this person is going in to the divorce and former relationship. If they have kids--shame on you.

You are in too deep already. She should have already got a divorce by now. Something sounds a little wrong to me.

being a married woman and being in that same situation. i stayed with my husband. i can tell you now that she wont leave. i realised in the moment that i had to make a decision that i ultimatly loved my husband with all my heart, and have since grown stronger. i still talk to the other guy and he has since fallin in love and is doing very well. we have both moved on and are in healthier situations now.

i say.... move on.
