I'm not questionin whether or not whites, men, etc get discriminated against (they do), however I don't think that it's reverse discrimination....only discrimination. The dictionary defines discrimination as:

"Treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit; partiality or prejudice"

that can be blacks discriminating against whites, or schlarships that favor indians over caucasions.

Your thoughts???

Discrimination happens all the time, no matter what fancy label you put on it, it can be one color against another, one race against the other, even women against men; If one color of race discriminates against another, then chances are 99.99% that it will go both ways, and either side will find some way to justify the treatment they are giving to each other.

Technically you are correct, but here you're dealing with government agencies which have to have "key words" to operate throughout their system. Newspapers are written at a sixth grade level because of the general publics' reading abilities and attention span (I was a reporter and an editor), and it's the same with the government. They have to allow those poor souls offered a free education and didn't take advantage and make what they could out of it to equal opportunity to understand what they are reading or hearing. So for the sake of differentiation they literally make up words and phrases. Their own jargon if you will. You're just arguing semantics here. What's the point?

No reverse discrimination does not exist. If a black man discriminates against a white man iit is plain discrimination. But a black man cannot be racist towards a white man in America because to be racist you have to be in the majority both race and economics.

"opposite" racism is a BS time period. it really is racism in spite of the race of the man conserving such sentiment. A black human being who rants adversarial to "crackers" and "white persons" is merely as racist as a stereotypical redneck carrying a accomplice flag on his truck and a white hood in the glove container.
