an agnostic is unsure of the presence of a god but is not willing to state one orthe other, accepting the possibility but either has doubts or either isn't that important to them. A Heathen is a derogatory term Christians apply to non believers and pagans and describes a rural dweller who's beliefs are older than christianity, ie: from the heath, but in modern times simply means unbeliever.
Somebody that beleives in God without religion would be considered a spirtiualist.
Brought to you by an Atheist :-), have a nice day

Agnostic is believing in God, but not religion. Calling someone a Heathen, was a term Christians used to describe anything that they didn't believe in, i.e. the beliefs of the Aboriginal North Americans, and is basically an insult.
Thanks J Boy, you are right.

well an agnostic is commonly thought if as an "i dont know" person... a heathen is a nonbeliever (and not that nice to say)
I like the term "irreligious" rather than athiest
or look up "freethinker" if you reject what people tell you and create your own ideas about gods, etc...
Good luck...
